What a true home cleaning service looks like
There is a real difference between a cleaning service that shows up and a cleaning service that genuinely cares about your home. The second kind notices the layer of dust on top of the picture frames, knows that wood floors need a different cloth than tile floors, and remembers that your daughter's bedroom is a no-fragrance zone because of her allergies. We are the second kind. After cleaning thousands of homes across South Jersey, Greater Philadelphia, and Delaware, we have refined a routine that consistently produces a result our clients can feel the moment they walk through the door.
Every clean starts with a checklist. Not a generic franchise checklist printed on a clipboard, but a custom one built from your initial walkthrough or quote intake. We capture what you care about — the specific countertop you want spotless every visit, the guest bathroom that needs extra attention before in-laws arrive, the basement playroom that gets skipped if it gets skipped — and we treat that checklist as a contract with you. If something on it gets missed, we come back and fix it within 24 hours, no questions asked.
The second thing you notice about a real cleaning service is consistency. The same crew comes to your home each visit. They learn your space. They figure out the quirks — the door that sticks, the window that needs the gentle touch, the dog who is friendly but anxious. By visit three or four, your cleaning team knows your home almost as well as you do, and the result is a clean that gets sharper over time, not flatter.
Standard, deep, and move-in/out — what the difference actually is
These three terms get thrown around loosely in our industry, so here is exactly what we mean by each.
A standard cleaning is what you book on a recurring weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis once your home is in good baseline shape. It hits the kitchen, all bathrooms, all bedrooms, and all common spaces. We dust all surfaces, vacuum all carpets, mop all hard floors, sanitize all bathrooms, wipe down the kitchen including the stovetop and the exterior of appliances, change the trash, and tidy the visible spaces. A standard clean for an average three-bedroom home runs roughly 90 minutes with our two-person crew.
A deep cleaning is everything in the standard clean plus the items that get skipped on a normal week. Inside the oven, inside the fridge, inside the microwave, baseboards hand-wiped, window sills detailed, ceiling fans dusted, light fixtures cleaned, cabinet exteriors hand-washed, grout brushed in bathrooms. We allocate roughly twice the time of a standard clean and bring extra equipment. We recommend a deep clean as a first-time visit for new clients (so we can establish a clean baseline), then quarterly thereafter.
A move-in or move-out cleaning is the most thorough service we offer. The home is empty, which means we can get into every cabinet, every closet, every drawer slot, every corner that is normally blocked by furniture. We hand-clean inside every cabinet and drawer, inside every closet, every interior window, every wall spot-clean, every baseboard, every door frame. We follow the same checklist that property managers and landlords use during inspections, and we send you a written summary you can forward to your landlord or buyer's agent as proof of the work performed.

Who cleans your home (and why that matters)
Every cleaner who enters your home is a W-2 employee of Clean Home Experts. Not a 1099 contractor, not a gig-app worker, not a subcontracted second party. This distinction is the single most important difference between us and the budget options you see online.
W-2 employment means our cleaners are background-checked through a national criminal database, fingerprinted where required, and protected by workers' compensation insurance. It also means we control their training, their schedule, and their accountability. When you point out that the dining room got missed, we can have a real conversation with a real employee — not a gig worker who has already moved on to another platform.
Our cleaners are trained on a specific routine that we teach during the first two weeks of employment. Every new hire shadows an experienced lead for at least 40 hours before working independently. Every cleaner is rated after every visit, and underperformers are coached or removed. This is why our retention rates — both client retention and employee retention — are dramatically higher than industry averages.

Eco-friendly, pet-safe, and allergy-aware cleaning
Our standard product line is balanced and effective for everyday surfaces. On request — and at no additional cost — we switch to a fully eco-friendly routine using EPA Safer Choice certified products. We recommend this routine for households with children under five, multiple pets, or anyone with chemical sensitivities or asthma.
For allergy households, we go further. Color-coded microfiber cloths prevent cross-contamination between zones, HEPA-filtered vacuums capture particles down to 0.3 microns, and we recommend a quarterly bedroom-specific deep extraction that targets the dust mites and dander that live deeper than a normal vacuum can reach. The difference in indoor air quality is genuinely measurable for households that commit to this routine over a season.
Pet-safe products are non-negotiable for any home with cats, dogs, birds, or small mammals. Many conventional cleaners — including some that market themselves as 'natural' — contain compounds that are mildly to seriously toxic to common house pets. Our pet-safe routine eliminates these entirely.

Pricing transparency
Our pricing is published online and locked in by our quote tool. There is no inspection visit required for a standard estimate, no high-pressure phone call, and no surprise upcharges when we arrive. The price you see in the quote is the price you pay.
Most homes between 1,000 and 2,500 square feet fall in the $149 to $279 range for a standard recurring clean. Larger homes, deeper conditions, and add-on services adjust the price accordingly. Frequency-based discounts are applied automatically: weekly clients save approximately 20%, bi-weekly clients save approximately 15%, and monthly clients save approximately 10% per visit compared to one-time pricing.
If your home is in unusually rough shape — long-deferred maintenance, post-construction debris, post-event recovery — we will quote a one-time deep or move-out clean as the first visit before transitioning to a standard recurring rate. This protects both you and us: you get a fair price for the actual work involved, and our cleaners are not stuck doing four hours of work for a 90-minute fee.
